Our third tour took us to France! We flew to Paris and then bussed to Burgundy. A stop in Reims let us observe champaigne being made. Our first "concert" was held at the famous Clos du Voguet. A little weird singing for people sightseeing at a winery, but hey, we're in France and we're singing gospel music. Life is good. Next stop, Dijon, and another singing engagement, this time at the famous Hospice de Beaune. Lastly our tour took us to Paris, the city of light! The Eiffel Tower, the Seine, Notre Dame, the Musee D'Orsey...so many wonderful things to remember. We give a memoriable outdoor concert at a bandstand in the Jardin de Luxembourg. And best of all, our director, Geoffrey Dana Hicks fulfilled his dream of having the choir photographed with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
